गंगू उम्र 28 साल, हनुमानगढ़ का रहने वाला यह नौजवान अपने बूढ़े माता-पिता की जीने की इकलौती वजह है। लेकिन एक भयानक सड़क हादसे ने इस हंसते-खेलते परिवार को पूरी तरह उजाड़ दिया है।
इस खौफनाक एक्सीडेंट में गंगू के सिर में गंभीर चोटें (Severe Head/Brain Trauma) आई हैं और उसका पूरा शरीर लकवाग्रस्त (Paralyzed) हो गया है। एक माँ के लिए अपने इकलौते बेटे को अस्पताल के बिस्तर पर जिंदगी और मौत से जूझते देखना, हर पल हजार मौत मरने जैसा है।
हनुमानगढ़ के अस्पताल में उसका लंबा इलाज चल रहा है। उन बेबस माता-पिता ने अपने बेटे को बचाने के लिए अपना घर-बार, जमापूंजी सब कुछ दांव पर लगा दिया। लेकिन अब उनके पास इलाज के लिए एक रुपया भी नहीं बचा है।
डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि अगर समय पर उसका सही इलाज और सर्जरी हो जाए, तो उसकी जान बच सकती है और वह फिर से अपने पैरों पर खड़ा हो सकता है।
